Welcome to my World Paper Currency Gallery.

If you're intrigued by the look and history of currency from around the world, then you've come to the right place. Association with money typically revolves around earning and spending. Unfortunately, most of us do not take the time to appreciate the artistic distinction and work that goes into the creation of currency. This is a historical and an educational site. This site contains both historical and modern paper currency of over 300 countries, including over 100 countries which do not exist anymore. Now, for example, if you are interested in U.S currency dated back to 1700s till present, you could simply click on special exhibit for U.S and you would be able to see all the currency of this country.

This site is provided to allow those who might never see these fascinating paper designs to view and learn more about currency. As you look at the extraordinary variety, you will see at least one banknote example from most banknote-producing countries. The banknotes are showcased in galleries by continents. You can also find a particular country in the Country Index. In addition, you may peruse three special exhibits – India, United States of America and United Kingdom.

This site exhibits 1300+ banknotes of 315+ countries, 3000+ scanned images, 1,000+ Web pages, and 1000+ external links. All external links open in a new window.

This is strictly a not-for-profit Web site. This site is for sharing information, not for any commercial purposes. This site complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and pages of this site can be viewed by ALL ages.
